I’m learning Godot everyone! The reason why is because I became enamored with an RPG concept… The title, genre and synopsis is below!

Title: Blue Horizon: The ALIENated Ruzva

Genre: Science fantasy turn-based RPG

Level of completion: I’m learning the basics of Godot for it, AKA not yet begun, but planned to be the next [third] game after Blue Horizon: The Art and Dance of Fernando Chandrani-Rivera

Synopsis:

Even while massive monsters arrive from the Shrouded Seas, even after 100,000 years since humanity’s exploration of the galaxy, nothing quite feels like it’s changed enough.

It’s the year 9987 ATF on the far-off planet Imion.

Ruzva—the rabble-rousing 600-year-old cat-man scientist and de-facto leader of his cat clan—has long been deemed a potential danger outside the classy Miya City.

Worse, he holds himself responsible for what happened to the kestral clan, his people. The kestral clan are an alien race who are not only capable of transforming into animals, but above all else, can one-up human alchemical Spectral power. They have been filed away as threats to humanity, and have had to go into hiding to survive among humankind.

Ruzva’s only haven of late is the Chandrani complex, the home of mysterious humanoid ocean mages. He protects his little protégé Antonio Chandrani-Rivera among them…

Well, Antonio Chandrani-Rivera is 12 now. The boy is still frequently targeted. This time, not only is one of Antonio’s twin brothers sick enough that he can’t leave his bed…

But an enormous Psyche with many arms and eyes has risen out of the sea…!

It’s causing an untold chaos not usually experienced by the highly-adept Chandrani family.

The worst situation regarding this particular Psyche is how it’s affecting children and adolescents’ hearing—to the point they’re unable to move when its screeches are too high.

It’s affecting Antonio and his friends… And Ruzva’s begun feeling paranoid. It’s not typical for the monstrous Psyche to get past the intricate safeguards of the Chandrani family’s home.

Is it possible someone’s trying to harm the children in particular? Who?

Ruzva is on a mission to find out!

This game will be worked on alongside several other projects, for I work on Blue Horizon best if I juggle different works. Blue Horizon: The Art and Dance of Fernando Chandrani-Rivera will be focal in 2027, as that game is scripted and aside from the endings, it only needs artwork done past Antonio’s many sprites.

(I know I said the next game would be a different pixel RPG...that one I want to be bigger now, however; this one will be good practice, IMO.)

Blue Horizon: The ALIENated Ruzva will feature the MC Ruzva…but several more Blue Horizon protagonists will also feature. Antonio and Layla and friends will be involved in the plot at 12 (/14) years old…and during their early 20’s, though I won’t spoil how all that goes down.

The game will additionally feature Ruzva’s boyfriend!

Here’s concept art of the humanoid form of Ruzva and his boyfriend Nekorae!

Ruzva the cat-man teacher of Antonio from Blue Horizon. He has softer rounded black cat ears, long black hair, actual bangs, kestral clan spring green eyes that sparkle, and bronze skin. He's not wearing a shirt. It says Ruzva on the top right with a cat emoticon for the V. The BG is rose gold.

Nekorae has dark skin, dark brown short scruffy hair, bright brown eyes, and a bright grin. He's wearing a brown aviator jacket with sepia-colored fluff. It says neokorae at the top right and the background is sky blue.

Nekorae repeat except with the shorter initial haircut I gave him.

Along with some regular artwork of the animal forms of Ruzva.

The implication of a character as a black cat with fuchsia eyes, peering curiously, in a strange space with aqua water behind them and rainbowing glitches touching everything but the cat and their fuschia shadow. Violet space is behind the aqua water.

And here’s some random facts I’m able to give about Ruzva, Nekorae and the kestral clan…!

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT RUZVA, NEKORAE, AND THE KESTRAL CLAN.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT RUZVA:

🐈‍⬛ Antonio considers him the ideal man. (ʘ‿ʘ✿) <- the creator/artist/author

🐈‍⬛ Ruzva is a kestral clan cat-man. Has 3 forms. Humanoid, felis catus, and…can you guess?

🐈‍⬛ His nickname is Ruse.

🐈‍⬛ He's like 600 years old.

🐈‍⬛ Ruzva is very much an uncle (possibly like a big brother). His life is way too busy, but he tries to check up on Antonio as much as possible even after his early teens.

🐈‍⬛ Feels like he's long failed Antonio Chandrani-Rivera's father, Armando Herrera-Rivera.

🐈‍⬛ Antonio's other father, Ranvir Chandrani, dislikes Ruzva.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT NEKORAE (MORE CRAFT-ORIENTED AND NOT LORE-ORIENTED):

🐈‍⬛ I've renamed + redesigned Nekorae 5 million times, but for now have settled down.

🐈‍⬛ His nickname is "Niyari." Niyari is based on Japanese and is meant to emulate the South Asian word "Nihari."

🐈‍⬛ He's kestral clan but hides his ears more. He's also around 600 years old.

🐈‍⬛ He has a life outside Ruzva. Ruzva still misses him. Ruzva will not admit this.

🐈‍⬛ He's great with kids.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT KESTRAL CLAN:

🐈‍⬛ Kestral clan['s actual] names are fantastical and not meant to be [literally] Earthian-styled.

🐈‍⬛ The kestral clan can manifest clothes after transforming almost instantaneously due to having Real Clothes Science (It's Science). Ruzva simply likes walking around half-naked a lot of the time. He sometimes wears [form-fitting] clothes.

🐈‍⬛ Kestral can hide their ears.

I don't want to spoil the kestral clan's supernatural powers beyond the basics, so...

That's about it.
