A clearer blog post on Past life ! Trans Girl ! Antonio (Anisra) and Past life ! Trans Girl ! Alejandro (Solanadyne)

07/06/26:

Currently named or code-named Anisra, a previous life of Antonio Chandrani-Rivera who basically looks exactly like him but with orange eyes and leaf green irises. Antonio is on one side and the main difference is shorter shoulder-length hair and red eyes. There's the ocean behind the two of them.

So I realized while rereading the old blog post that I was noticeably over-excited and not very comprehensible about the trans girl past life of Antonio (Anisra) and the trans girl past life of Alejandro (Solanadyne). Here's my attempt to recitfy this.

This blog post contains some spoilers. Read at your discretion.

Antonio and Alejandro’s gender and sexuality things will not be gone into for a long time. However, I really wanted to create a trans girl version of Antonio due to feeling like I missed out on exploring certain ideas like this prior to the mid-2010’s/fourth-wave feminism.

The bird-folk Anisra and Solanadyne’s people happen to be are more alike to tengu and harpies in my mind than angelfic.

Shapeshifting is something common in Blue Horizon. It’s gone into in The Protector and the Annihilation. Shapeshifting into animals is the most common type, buuut…

There are humanoid people like Anisra and Solanadyne who can change body types! There’s a magic system explanation that may or may not be apparent via The Protector and the Annihilation—it’s not explicitly gone into within the book; I’ll go into it one day.

Anisra with elaborate wings and a morose expression. she has long falling blue hair and dark brown skin, as well as orange irises. In front of her is Solanadyne with short hair, shirtlessness, and short hair.

When Anisra and Solanadyne’s humanoid bird-folk change body types, they gain an aesthetic amount of feathers on their body. This showcases that they were interested, and in their society is a marker of pride. “To gain feathers” as bird-folk is often boasted about.

Their bird-folk are a little flippant about gender—however, it can be a little rare for them to want to stick to a gender. Since people are aware of the change because of feathers, core adjustment, and scent, the ones who are trans girls or guys are considered so.

This is because for these specific bird-folk, changing body-types is not easy; they can change back only after a year or two. So they have to decide whether they want to stay in a certain body type for that long. Some decide to change back, but if they decide to keep a body type long-term, they can be considered “trans” or “cis” in their own societal way.

Aesthetically aside from all this, these bird people have orange irises with leaf green pupils. This differentiates them from Blue Horizon's Spectral Clans, who don't have orange irises at all, and all their pupils are simply variant of the iris color their iris already has.

Konna and Anisra were once adopted sisters eons back.

Konna said, “You are still too caught up in your savior mentality. Saving everyone… I understand everything, Anisra. But you are draining your power. You are likely to. None of them are wrong.”
	“You think I am incapable.”
	“You are more than capable.”
“So,” Anisra said, “You fear something else.”
